Alexandra Valai - Veterinary Surgeon
Alexandra Valai MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon

Originally from sunny Greece, Alexandra received her Veterinary Surgeon degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has undergone both undergraduate and postgraduate formal training in wildlife and exotics medicine from various institutions across Europe, including the renowned Bird and Reptile clinic of the University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna. But her proudest achievement remains having completed the Wildlife Medicine Internship program at Costa Rica's most established wildlife rescue centre, Rescate, contributing to conservation efforts of the country's amazingly unique fauna.

She has volunteered at various rescue centres, charities and zoos and has worked in small animal practice as well as at an exotic bird breedery. She specifically moved to the UK to work at Trinity because of our rich and varied exotics caseload and highly experienced staff, and is looking forward to working towards further certifications in exotics medicine.

In her free time she enjoys hiking and exploring the countryside, going to concerts and getting acquainted with local history and culture.
