Claire joined the practice in 2013 after working within the NHS for 10 years. She has an NVQ in business and administration and is a trained first aider. Claire was trained intensively by Nichola in-house after starting as a receptionist and working her way up from animal care assistant to full time ANA. She enjoys working with the vast array of species seen at Trinity as well as interacting with all of our lovely clients. She is very passionate about guinea pigs and is happy to provide advice about diet and husbandry, having spent 14 years rescuing, keeping and rehabilitating guinea pigs.
This is reflected in her home life as she currently cares for 21 guinea pigs (!) as well as a 15 month old Labrador named Wednesday and a 3 month old Springer Spaniel X Basset Hound named Perry, not forgetting her grumpy Russian Tortoise, Sally, rehomed from Trinity. In her spare time she enjoys baking, going to concerts and festivals, walking the dogs, travelling, clay pigeon shooting, skiing and visiting family members.
